Trapped moisture invites roof failure. If your commercial roof has typical construction and has leaked in the past, there are probably areas of water-saturated insulation underneath it.

Using infrared-imaging equipment manufactured by Flir Systems, Inc, we scan the surface of your roof, at night, after a warm day. The water-saturated areas will remain warmer than the dry areas and will be easy to detect with infrared equipment. We outline each wet area with spray paint to identify the area of insulation that requires removal. Chaffee employs two certified thermographers. Infrared scans are performed in accordance with guidelines set up by the U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers.

Basic Service
Includes the infrared scan, outlining saturated areas and sketching the roof to show the approximate location of all wet areas.

Full Service
Includes all minimum services plus a full report with photos and thermograms of wet areas. Chaffee Industrial Roofing will also conduct verification test cuts of your roof.

	An Area of wet insulation was located by a Chaffee Infrared Scan, and torn out. This area will be filled in with new insulation prior to reroofing, saving the cost and inconvenience of tearing off the entire existing roof.
